Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actress and writer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in several Broadway plays before breaking through into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's performance in the year 1957. In the same year, she released Her first album of songs, called It's Time to Tina. Louise made her debut as a performer in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film which was made in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda who was a character from the movie. During this time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious in order to dispel her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years she's also been the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural and The 100. The family she was born into moved to Essex to Toronto, where she spent childhood and adolescence. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and is a resident of Vancouver ever since.
