Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie was the first woman to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media-star. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. Also, she was credited with taking home both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her parents and her siblings were born and brought up at Reykjavik Iceland. As a working out enthusiast from a young age she participated in various school games and won several medals. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in the year 2009. She did well in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir's ages are 31 years (as in 2021). She's 5'7" tall and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie started CrossFit training in California in 2009. The first time she competed, she did very well and placed in top 10 among 70. Although she didn't win any of the titles, she finished with eleventh place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The coach Jami Tikannen guided her to the second position in the CrossFit Games, and a medal of silver in that year. Due to her impressive performance, she was able to claim her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 brought to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she won consecutively. In addition, she was awarded a medal that was silver in 2014 and the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie trains and coaches for Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her concept. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has been the face for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization as well as Sidekick Yerbae. She also has her own Youtube channel named "Annie", with over a thousand followers. It is the channel where she shares videos about the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
